  1. Olivia says:

I think the clouds are under the sky because, when my Dad used to fly planes, he would always tell us how he liked to try and see clouds shaped as animals or people BELLOW him.

  2. Skyy says:

Well they could be in or under the Sky because you have fog and that is under the sky;so it comes when it has been under the natural temperature , it is also when the condensation has formed into millions of big droplets so that gives you fog. Then when you see the cloud in the sky they are actually in the sky because i look at the Sky alot so sometimes you can see the clouds reach their final height that is when you know that the clouds are in the sky. So that is my explanation

  3. Tamara says:

It can’t be under the sky because you don’t know when the sky starts. It could be anywhere; they can’t be above the sky because the sky ends when you come out of earth and the clouds aren’t in space. So it has to be in the sky!

  4. Demi says:

I think the clouds are in the sky because when I am above the clouds I can see them and when I am down on the ground I can see them.

  5. Ollie says:

Clouds are in the sky because the sky is from Earths atmosphere to the ground.

  6. Lily.S. says:

I think clouds are in the sky because they aren’t really low but they aren’t against the edge of the atmosphere. But it might depend on where you are classifying the sky.

  7. Elliotte says:

I think that they are below the sky because the sky is endless and if they were above you would not be able to see them.

  8. Maia says:

I think clouds are under the sky because when I went on a airplane I looked out and saw the clouds under and then I looked up and could only see sky and clouds are not in the earths atmosphere .

  9. Lea says:

I think clouds are in the sky but think when u are on the ground it will show half of the sky like when u shop something in 2 and when u are out of Earths atmosphere it is the same as when u are underneath the sky

  10. Katie says:

I think that they are above the sky because you don’t know where the sky starts and if you are in a plane and you look out of the window there are still clouds over it so it is like another sky.

  11. Lily.C. says:

It depends on the point of view and where your standing.
Say if I was in the clouds I would say the clouds are above the sky but,
If I was under the clouds I would say the clouds are beneath the sky.
But they can be anywhere because the sky is ENDLESS………………….

  12. Tusniwun says:

I think the clouds are in the sky, because when your on the ground looking up you can see the clouds and the sky, and if you are in the air(airplane)you can also see the sky and the clouds. If the clouds were below the sky, then you would only see the clouds, and if it was above the sky, you would only see the actual sky.

  13. Bethan H says:

It depends what stage the clouds are in ☁️

  14. Lucy P says:

I think when you are on the ground it looks like the clouds are in the sky and when you are in an aeroplane you think that they are above the sky because you can see them clearer.. This means that depending on what position you are in, you dont really know! I think they are under the sky because thats what i think.

  15. Matthew says:

I believe that Clouds are IN the sky.

If you think of it, when you jump, even if you are just slightly off the ground, you are in the sky for about one or two seconds. The sky is what touches the ground, and so this means if you were to clear the land so it was so flat, you could see so far into the distance, you can see the sky is in front of you, touching the ground.

When you fly an Aircraft, it takes off below the clouds, and we consider it IN the sky, and when the aircraft flies above the clouds, it’s still in the sky. It’s just like when condensation floats up into the sky, it’s just like an aircraft. If a cloud were to be below the sky, it would most likely be underground (I think). I’ll definitely take this thunk further into investigation, because I’m quite Optimistic, and really interested. My theory may or may not be right, but well it doesn’t matter, it’s a Thunk, it’s designed to not have a correct answer.

    Thanks for reading.

    • Mrs Wells says:

Matthew, I am very impressed with the thought that you have put into this. This is a very “deep” answer and I very much enjoyed reading it.

  16. Daniel G says:

The clouds are in the sky because the sky is from the edge of the atmosphere, all the way down to the ground. This means that everyone is (kind of) standing in the sky! So everything on Earth is in the sky 😀

  17. Marcus J says:

I would say neither because you never know suddenly one day you just wake up and randomly find clouds pouring through the window because really nobody is stopping them .BUT. You never know you wake up randomly go outside finding not a cloud in sight the reason be is because one day the cloud might try to be brave and chose to go out of the atmosphere. BUT there is something wrong about that ,did you know that clouds are actually sea water that has been evaporated so the moment they hit space they condense back into those miniature rain drops they really where because there is no oxygen to let them free to their freedom(rain).

  18. Izzy S says:

I think the clouds are in the sky because you can fly above the clouds or walk through the clouds because when you are on top of a mountain you have clouds above and under you. There are clouds called low lying clouds that you can walk through.

  19. Harry S says:

it depends what you are defining as the sky because it would either be in the sky or under
    the sky.

  20. Adam C says:

I think clouds are below the sky because if you think of the great mountain : mount Everest is above the clouds and its peak is in the sky, so if it is just in the sky and the clouds are below then that means they are below the sky.

There are other ways of finding this for an example if you go on an aircraft you are in the sky the clods are usually below you. Am I right ?

  21. Tirzah Z says:

To get an answer you supportit depends on what you classify the sky as.
I classify it as sky from a cm of the ground .As you know the clouds are not on the floor.
From all that I have said above I think I can safely say that the clouds are not under the sky.
I also think the sky ends at the end of the earths atmosphere.
So I can now eliminate the fact that the clouds are above the sky.
That means when alls said and done the clouds are in the sky.

If you have said that the clouds are in the sky I support you.
If you have said they arein the sky we have classified the sky differently.
The same if you said that theyare under the sky.

If you have a different answer to me this is my opinion. I may be wrong I may be right .

  22. Joshua P says:

I think that the sky goes up to the border of the sky’s Atmosphere 🙂

  23. Poppy M says:

I think clouds are in the sky because I go on airplanes a lot and always see clouds but only one layer and if clouds were under the sky you would see clouds then sky . I didn’t really know so this is kind of a guess but at the end of the day there’s no answer.
